Dr. Arfanis grew up on Long Island, New York before
pursuing his undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania followed by his dental degree at Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. He then went on to complete a residency in dental implantology at the Misch Institute-New York University School of Dentistry in Manhattan. He is currently undergoing advanced fellowship training with the International Congress on Oral Implantology while he practices in Westfield, New Jersey. It is Dr. Arfanis' goal to apply his expertise in the latest techniques and technologies towards helping even more of his patients patients with a wider array of services than ever before.

Dr. Arfanis has been married for more than 15 years and has a son, Derrick. Outside the office, he enjoys astronomy, physics, and taking his family to the American Museum of Natural History. He joined the Optimist Club of Westfield because he believes in the power of positive thinking and helping the youth of today find their way in life. He is proud to have inspired some of his young patients to pursue their own careers in dentistry. Dr Arfanis participates in Habitat for Humanity and the Optimist Club of Westfield. Dr. Arfanis has helped patients avoid critical health issues by performing thorough examinations, explaining the findings, and referring them to their physicians for further testing. Why? "My patients mean the world to me," says Dr. Arfanis. "Their continued overall health is important. I became a dentist because I wanted to help people get better and stay healthy."
